This is your community...this is your
radio station!
As a 501(c)3 non-profit, non-commercial radio station, WDCM
relies on volunteers to help make it's programming possible.
This is a great opportunity for you to get involved in the
interesting world of radio broadcasting. Whether you are a young
person looking to gain some experience for the future or retired
and looking for something new to be a part of, or somewhere in
between volunteering for WDCM can be a rewarding experience!
You can be a part of it!
Volunteers are always needed in a variety of areas. Our current
list of areas you can volunteer in are listed below. If you have
as little as an hour a week you can be a part of Marion's
Community Radio Station!
Volunteers can do everything from general office work, news and
sports coverage, music preparation, special events, promotions, graphics,
answering phones…even announcing!
Want to become a WDCM volunteer?
All we ask is a commitment of time. Can you spare at least one
hour a week?
