Students air their
views every Thursday
Each Tuesday evening from 7-8pm,
Marion area students take over the airwaves on WDCM 97.5 FM, Marion's
community radio station.
The weekly radio show kicked off in May, 2006 and is growing!

The program started with a
publicity hoax where Harding High School officials and the radio station
claimed a group of unknown students had illegally taken over the
air waves. The students kept the prank going for several weeks
until they were ready to go "legit".
The program is written,
directed and stars the teens. The group opens up on topics
that affect area teens. Of course, they play the music
THEY want to hear.
Harding High School teacher,
Shannon Morris actually oversees the project, with help from
Marion Recreation Dept. Director, Jeannie Brewer and various
radio station staff.
Find out what it's all about by
tuning in each Tuesday evening at 7pm.
