The Brass QuintetHow much would it cost you to travel this summer? We've got a site that will answer your question for you. Nick came by to talk about a great disc golf program for kids that's coming up. We also talked about a huge concert coming to Marion.

Army Field Band Coming To Marion
Glenn Coble of Marion Community Credit Union (he's also a board member of the US Open which owns WDCM) came in to talk about a pretty big concert coming to Marion. The best thing about it is that it is FREE!

The United States Army Field Band will perform at the Palace Theatre in Marion at 1:00 p.m. on June 22.

The band is actually a band and chorus which performs all types of music.

While the concert is FREE, you must get a ticket in advance. You can do that at the WDCM studios, 121 East Church Street, or at either branch of the Credit Union. Tickets are going fast so don't miss out.

Summer Disc Golf Program
Nick Seeber from MOODGolf was back to talk about their summer program for kids. The kids, meeting in two separate age categories, will learn about sportsmanship, courtesy, etiquette, and skills for disc golf.

The program starts this Saturday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. for those 10 and under. Kids 11 to 19 will start at noon. The younger kids need a parent with them, but the old kids only need to have their parents sign a permission slip.

There is no charge and kids who don't have a disc will be provided one to use. All you have to do is show up at Sawyer-Ludwig Park ready to learn and have fun.

How Much Will Your Trip Cost
Many of us are thinking about taking trips this summer. Have you thought about how much it will cost you in gas? With gas prices at all time highs, it's getting more and more expensive.

You can find out how much it will cost using your vehicle with this site from AAA. Just click here to find out.

For the car I would use, a Chevy Colbalt, it would cost around $235 to drive from Columbus to Orlando, Florida.

Weather Kid
Today's Weather Kid from Epworth Preschool and Daycare was Jenna. She's ready to move onto the big middle school at River Valley.

You can download Weather Kids and listen to them any time on your computer, just click here.

Contest Winner
The winner of our Nearly Impossible Trivia Contest, which is usually pretty easy, was Beth Eisenbrei. She spelled it for me, but I may have still gotten it wrong.

She knew that a SantaFe SUV would cost $320 to drive from Columbus to Orlando, Florida. She picked up a car care kit.
