We traveled to the happening village of Kirkpatrick Thursday as part of our Summer Tour 2007. We were amazed at how many people came out to the township hall to tell stories.
Because of illness, get better Jester, Karol Niedhart was at the Scott Township Hall in Kirkpatrick while I, Sean, was back at the studios.
We heard a ton of stories from the past, including one about a group of women who hired a local farm hand to hold the owner of a bar at bay. This allowed the ladies to storm the bar and destroy all the liquor. This happened right before prohibition.
Weather Kid
Today's Weather Kid from Epworth Preschool & Daycare was Richard. He's a little bummed about a canceled trip to Cedar Point, but he's hoping maybe he'll get there before the end of the summer.
